If his injuries meant the price dropped to 30m wydi?

What price would make the injuries risks worth it?

Would he ever actually have the output of Brennan or Sonny outside? Even Kulusevski in a bad year had better numbers.

After Sess & Gio, why would we wanna take such a risk ever again?

Give Toney 2/1 that Neto plays just 25 leagues games next year and even he wouldn't gamble.

Even Klopp abandoned the midfield experiment because it weakened their structure so much, and that was using him as an 8 in a cm3.
Exactly ! Gary though thinks he will do a good job there but the point I’m making is even with his faults he still thinks he is a better CM partner for rice than Gallagher who I thought could do everything.

He’s playing Trent there because he’s one of our best footballers, it’s not a Hail Mary. Trent is one of the most disrespected ballers in the country, his defensive weaknesses are sooooo overplayed compared to what he can do with a football.

He’s Beckham-lite and his set pieces and delivery could be lethal in internationals. You get him somewhere in the lineup.

Unless you're a risk averse manager like Southgate.

It’s a literal fact that all the profits are ploughed back into the football club.

To say otherwise is to live in a trumpian world of alternative facts.
The football club including infrastructure, not the football team. The former is to help these locusts grow their nest egg value before the sale (at the short term detriment to the latter)

That’s a distinction without a difference. The stadium helps our football teams. The events turn a profit which help our football team. The development of land turns a profit that helps our football team. These are small operations next to the football club but each contributes a small amount that we can use to become better.

if the owners are self-interested then they would want the football team to do well. That is in their financial interest. And if they were greedy then they would take money out of the club. In fact they’ve done the opposite - they’ve put money into the club.

Facts.

Agree with all that, not saying they are the devil but for me the balance is wrong. The stadium made sense and clearly still does but is the hotel really gonna make a diff? Right now, they should be concentrating on selling a minority stake or finding a way to bring in external investment to turbocharge the investment on the first team, and the strong PSR position we have vs others. Solely self funding won’t work - need a short term boost

Does the hotel make any difference to our capacity to run a good football team? The amount of institutional manpower it uses is negligible; it’s done through contractors and professional services.

As a club, we could commit to bigger investment and wages, but choose not to.
Clubs like villa and Newcastle, are champing at the bit to, become part of the big boy set, meanwhile spurs continue to wait for an opportunity.

Perhaps not now we have a football board and staffing pyramid - absolutely killed us during the stadium build tho

And also yes it does. Levy is hands on and megalomaniac and it will be a distraction
