That was my nightclub strategy in my 20s.

Did it work?

What about all the non playing ventures Enic don't pay for them the club's revenue does so is diverted from on field improvements.
They turn a profit so over the medium to long term we always make more money than we invest.

I’d understand if they were running Trump style casinos and losing money. They aren’t.

Here you go: some legal documents for you. Annual Reports | Tottenham Hotspur

If you can find evidence that the owners are taking money out of the club then I will contribute to the legal fund to sue them for lying and retract my statement.

You’re all style and no substance.

I’ll wait…
JT didn't say the scum were taking out I don't think the coffin dodger takes any money at all his gain is in value from about £28m to £1.5bn in value without spending any of his money. His assistant however takes plenty out all legally but then so does my mate the plumber for his weekend callouts.
Anyway Daniel put up a photo of the trophy cabinet under your leeching.

No money is being taken out therefore all profits go back into the club. Correct?

That was my original claim.

The club increases revenue to improve the football team.

Maybe, I dunno, right back? Where one of the best managers of this generation plays him and where Trent's played his whole career?

Shoehorning him into midfield at the last minute is desperate. Like Keane and Rooney say, he doesn't have the defending ability for midfield, Rice will be overworked.

We shouldn't need Walker against Serbia. This manager is fucking clueless.
Not just the defending, he takes touches rather than passing it quickly

Glad he’s playing TBH but unconvinced on position but let’s see. Team that starts today won’t be the team that plays in KO’s

Nice to see the much vaunted Gallagher may not even get in ahead of TTA in the England midfield. If as some say he has all these qualities they speak how comes his not even a nailed on starter for England over make shift RB playing in midfield.

Been reading he's signing a contract extension.

If true at least Ange can move on early in the transfer window.

Forget about getting Calfiori for cheap now or even getting him at all. Many big clubs will be after him now and some of them can guarantee him a starting spot...

That’s media narrative.

I doubt any big club is promising starting spots.

There are a very limited number of players in the world that get that type of guarantee

No, but what clever managers will do is tell a transfer target that at that position he's playing, everybody will start the season with the same chance of being no 1, there's no favourites. Impress me more than X and you'll defo start, even though X was my main guy last year kinda thing.

Keeps the target interested in joining...and focused from the get go when he does sign. As for the newbie, it satisfies his ego and ambition.

That's exactly what the manager should say and stick to. Obviously if the manager is Conte or Jose, the player and his reps should be smart enough to understand that is a load of bollox and they usually play favourites.

Are you seriously disputing that he was far too hands on in the minute details of the stadium build and for transfer negotiations?
How is that even an issue?!

If I was investing a billion quid in a stadium build, I’d want my CEO all over the minute details like a rash!

WALOB

he was checking fittings and small details like a project manager, all the while we wasted a golden opportunity to sign players and augment the brilliant 11 we had.

Club yes. Squad no. Without taking a detailed look it's paying off stadium debt right?
Stadium investment is already more than paying for itself. We got loans and historically outstanding rates.

As critics like to say, we went 18 months without signing a player. The benefit to that was we turned a big profit and got incredible rates during a general context when rates were low anyway.

Sadly left Poch in charge of player identification to buy from about 2016 until Poch left - hence our best buys were probably Davidson Sanchez and Luca Modric.

Much improved player recruitment after hiring Paratici
