If you need explaining what Son brings to the game over Brennen, frankly you're a lost cause.

For starters you should stop looking at G/A stats as if they're the be all. Take most of those Johnson goals - they're tap ins from two yards. Valuable, yes, but indicative of genuine ability, world class attributes, skills you can develop? No.

Go take a look at Son's first goal for Spurs. Age roughly 23, against Palace, takes the ball on the left, beats a man with a brilliant shimmy then smashes it low past the keeper. From that moment it was abundantly clear we had a real player on our hands.

How many times has Brennan done anything like that that? What did he do last year that made you think, wow this guy has some real ability?

How many of his assists last season were brilliant slide rule passes like Son made time and again, as opposed to low crosses into the box any two bit winger from the Championship can deliver?

Sometimes the game needs to be seen with your eyes and brain. Not behind spreadsheets and stats.

A pearler of a long range goal is worth as much as a two yard tap in, same point goes for the difference in type of assist. You have to factor in how we set up and what Ange wants from his wide players too, Out wide leading to low crosses is a big part of that as is my understanding.

If we had a proper CF in the box for most of the season Johnson would have likely picked up a few more assists too

Sigh. Here's your explanation.

Seems your ability to read isn't much better than your ability to watch football.

Sorry, going on ignore. Like talking to a child. And I imagine people have better things to do than read an argument about whether Son is better than Brennan lmao.
Disingenuous. The discussion was that they both had slow starts and spurs and they both offer very little apart from excellent end product (goals and assists).

Thanks for discussing though. You have a lot to contribute if you stop being offended that people have different points of view.

Just sticking up for my homie Joan Thomas. ENIC out gang for lyfe.
You have to be his mum or daughter..

"Who gives a fuck what players JT wants to sign. We pay people millions of pounds to do that for us.

If you find his posts so boring put him on ignore. Simple stuff. Your incessant whining about him is no more tiresome."

Hahaha what a Moby..

Many would Love to justify Levy's Player Punts. We paid twice as much for Johnson as we could've paid for Trossard. But some will justify it. Maybe Johnson will be better than Trossard at some point, but by that time players like Romero and VDV will have been hanging around three or four seasons, eager to transfer to the likes of RM. We buy to groom. We don't buy to win anything. The Rebuild of the Rebuilt, Rebuild that was Rebuilding the Rebuild...... will continue.

Another day another self-own from you.

Woolwich target Desire Doue chooses to join PSG

An exclusive report from us here at TBR Football in May revealed that Woolwich have been closely monitoring Rennes No.33 Desire Doue – and planned to compete for his signature this summer.

The 19-year-old has blossomed into one of the brightest talents in France in recent times, making 43 appearances in all competitions for Rennes last season, scoring four goals while also providing six assists.

Now – according to PSG Inside – Doue has told Rennes he wants to join the Parisians.

It is said that Rennes will not stand in the France U23 international’s way after a phone call took place between PSG and the teenager’s representatives, so barring any late shocks, it would seem the Angers-born wonderkid is moving to Paris.
