Probably becsuse of the emergence of Lamal and he's seen as a saleable asset to get money, that's been their M.O for the last couple of years.
It's a never ending story, fella....

Because he's bang average and only useful off the bench against teams that don't have much depth to sub on equal quality players.
Saw him live this season and he was OK. He would be Ok for us and add depth. Never taking us up a level though.
He was a good fit for Bielsa I think and that team was football hipster porn so he got loads of hype. Was never as excited about him as most when he was still in the prem.... Don't think I seen him since.
It's worked pretty well for Brighton, Liverpool, Villa and Brentford.
We've got to interested in Toney. The boy has a bit of everything and defenders must hate him. He's strong, reasonably quick, great technique, can rough up defenders, great hold up play with vision to play in others and scores all sorts of goals. Would even be good at set pieces both ends.
Is west ham, that much of a step up from Brentford? With Kane going we’ve absolutely missed him defensively clearing those balls on the near post. Toney would bring this. The amount of goals Kane saved us over the seasons is incredible on set pieces.
I’d go for Toney but West Ham seem to be heavily linked with him now. If he were to go there then it’s a missed chance. But also would ring alarm bells given the clubs he’s been linked to.
Gold reporting that way makes me think they already know who they want
FuckHe also name drops Ederson though as a 6. A name that doesn't seem to go away.

Could west ham afford him with FFP, their wages bill runs at over 70% like villa have.
and makes my hunch about Bissouma on the way out grow stronger.
