No that would make two atm. Solanke and Odobert have both started league games this season so we've signed at least two starters.
One is a 19 yr old kid with just one season in pl. he’s only playing bcos the other winger Ange got Werner on the left is crap. Solanke at £65M has to start for that price but he’s not real proven quality. He’s just about an improvement in richi even the their goal records are similar slight richi better in PL.

Get the feeling you'd never be happy with any transfer.

'We paid too much.'
'We paid too little'
'He's too young'
'He's too blonde'
'His name is spelt funny'
'He won't start'
'He started but is rubbish'
'We should have bought that striker who is awesome but I can't remember his name'

There's something to be said for establishing relationship with players. I remember Chelsea wanted to gazump us for Richarlison, but he rejected them cause we came for him first and he gave us his word.

Odd to have sold 3 experienced players in Royal, Hojbjerg, Skipp and have put faith in kids.

Spence, Davies, Reggie are not good enough full back options.

And 3 CBs won't be enough.

I'm afraid you're right. The Johnny Cardosa agreement wasn't exactly transfer activity, at least not this season.
Only Tottenham Hotspur could turn a football player into derivative future stock option. (the rest is not aimed at you directly Dudski!).

I said this a matter of days ago:

Levy approaches players and managers like property - occupants come and go, but the value of bricks and mortar always grows.

Go read the terms of the option on Cardosa - this man has literally dehumanised a football player to the point that he could potentially make money off of his sell-on clause without the guy even putting on OUR shirt.

That's not even greed, its demonic. To all Levy supporters and apologists, I hope you enjoyed your transfer window, do continue to worship high priest Mr Daniel LaVey. Give it all the vigor and futility of throwing ice cubes at the sun.

Till January window, where do this retarded dance again.

I agree, LR had a very similar take which I also agree with:

Ok window overall, but at first impression not what we needed to catch up to the top 3. More work will need to be done in January most likely.

Ange has made it quite clear, he doesn't want to buy players for the sake of filling a position if that player isn't better than what we have, or isn't invested in what he is trying to do with the team.

If Ange is a picky fucker who's to say that's a bad thing given some of the dross we have just off loaded.
