Our recent matches against Newcastle have been mostly shit, our wimps are probably going to wilt in the atmosphere of excitement around the takeover. Just like they did when Benitez confirmed he would stay with them in the Championship and their shite team battered us 5-1.

They have shit players, be ready for battle and we will win. If we are complacent or afraid to play a team as bad as them then there's no point even leaving the dressing room. Matches against shit teams are all about the attitude. Work harder than them and the result is ours.

If we play like we did vs Villa, we'll wipe the floor with them.

Yes they have new owners, but they have the same players and currently the same manager. It's not going to change overnight, and it'll be 4-5 years until they are near the top, if they actualy get there.

The fact Newcastle have LONG been our bogey side (despite being shit) smacks of Chelsea pre-Abramovitch... THEY were shit for decades, yet always managed to stay unbeaten against us.... For 20+ years!!!

It's also live on Sky so the entire narrative is going to be about how Newcastle is a huge club and their fans deserve some success, and they are going to be huge and be winning everything and challenging City and blah blah blah.

They might spend 30 seconds to say how we are moving in the opposite direction and it's hard to argue that.

I had my concerns about them before they got a morale boosting takeover by the richest wankers on earth.

The mood within their dressing room is going to be sky fucking high.

I am still waiting for Spurs to learn this lesson. We fuck up against "lesser" teams time and time again because we do not take them seriously.

One of our old players that is on twitter said that we should bring in Perryman to talk with the players about things like this. There's some sense in that.
