Indeed. If you think about it - United nor any team below them can catch us now. So if Man City were to implode and drop out the top 4, any team overtaking them cannot also overtake us.
So we'd be in the top 3.

They made the point on the Sky commentary today that 2nd is financially better for the club as there is still CL money but no obligation to pay huge bonuses.
So there might be some at the club who would be happier with it.
