The club are "weighing up and considering a bid"
Exactly. And proper quality will work whatever. Son was bought for Poch but shone for all his successors through varying styles. Kane wasn't bought but again was elite for different managers and styles. All those are not our problems to worry. This club is in the top 10 richest club. We are one of the best run clubs in terms of debts and revenue. And our wages are peanuts. We are long overdue on spending on players.
Be fair Millsey for Danny Dyer...huh? Huh?

The lifespan of a manager these days is like 18 months, the idea of buying players for a specific manager are gone. Quality shines through.
Every cloud I suppose...
Not sure if Anthonee Robinson counts. Plays for America, but British as a pack werthers originals.Surely there's a young English/British left back out there, one with plenty upside but already experienced in the EFL. Might not even cost us 8 mil, no 3rd party ownership crap, no language barrier etc.
Really winds me up how we always look abroad first.
"Right frank tough game today, but you managed to keep them geordie slags at bay and grafted to a 0-0 draw? That's pwopa nawty and you got to be pleased with that?"
Sob, did you have to remind me?Loads of people turned their noses up at the suggestion of Grealish in the summer and he has been fantastic for Everton. Is Paqueta in a similar camp? Sometimes experience makes the difference
All the people whinging won’t want to admit it but there’s a reason Man City were very keen on signing him 18 months ago. He is a class player when motivated and if he’s keen to join us why would that not be the case?Loads of people turned their noses up at the suggestion of Grealish in the summer and he has been fantastic for Everton. This the same Grealish who got dropped to the bench for going on the piss over Christmas?Loads of people turned their noses up at the suggestion of Grealish in the summer and he has been fantastic for Everton. Is Paqueta in a similar camp? Sometimes experience makes the difference
ENICIf we haven't had a bid accepted for a player by the end of next week, you have to once again conclude that we entered the transfer window without a strategy.
I just don't understand how, a squad that is in need of strengthening can sell players before securing better replacements.
I mean is there anything comprehensible about this club at the present time.
Rumours of Toney and Paqueta , I guess as long as they are both betting for us to win then they will be giving 100% each game! All the people whinging won’t want to admit it but there’s a reason Man City were very keen on signing him 18 months ago. The players we are linked with don't match with the desire ENIC spoke after Levy sacking. They knows nothing about football . Nothing changes.
And that ex scum Vinai looks prime to sabotage us than thinking to run us better than previous.
Yeah we really over complicate this recruitment business.Surely there's a young English/British left back out there, one with plenty upside but already experienced in the EFL. Might not even cost us 8 mil, no 3rd party ownership crap, no language barrier etc.
