Rambling?

Eviscerating your whiney attempts at making me some sort of social pariah because I referenced a medical condition that 50 years ago was an issue, maybe.

I take it I should scrub my rickets and scurvy references as well, for future reference?
You already are a social pariah - you just don't realise it.

And MemphisWill MemphisWill has finally broken his duck!
First match for me in the new stadium (and first time seeing it completed). The missus' first match, period. We've played better, but what a finish! Atmosphere after the winner was immense.

Truly a great experience, hate that we got behind and didn't get to catch up with everyone. We'll do better next week, for sure!

A great match to attend, nice going. When we went to a game against Wolves in 2022 it was a 1-0 snorefest. But, I got to meet Mrs. P so it's all good.
As for today, what really sucked was the transitional passing. If we would have been stringing those together we would have scored 4 or 5.

Excellent. Sorry to hear about the missus being on the blob.

Yeah, the midfield looked a mess. Betancur was poor - had an easy pass to make up the wing that he spurned, directly leading to the penalty. Passive and late throughout. Maddison seemed to be playing a holding midfield role at times, far too deep in general. Sarr was the best of the lot, but he didn't shine often. Timo had some exciting passages, but poor end product.

Glad we came out of that with the 3 points, onward and upward.

I was very disappointed in Brighton. Expected better, they were shite. Couldn't stay off the deck and the time-wasting was embarrassing.

The early goal was a huge incentive for them to sit off for big chunks of the game.

I think they knew if it turned into a basket ball game we'd pose a far bigger threat......

The away game will have taught them that..... Despite their strong first half in that game; it took a worldie and 2 pens against a very depleted Spurs to get them the points. Even then; with another 5 mins on the clock you wouldn't have put it past us to draw level as they were dead on their feet, were extremely lucky to finish with 11 men and we were creating for fun in the last 15mins + ET.

Huge result! But the same issues remain. The wingers are an issue and are a big reason why we have been unable to control entire matches. There is near zero retention and/or consistency when it goes to our wingers. Each one of them has their own problems
