Match ****Tottenham Hotspur V Man United Sunday 16th Feb 4:30 pm ****

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Good.
So given that you are not sport scientist, I assume you never say anything about injuries going forward? Not about what causes them but then also not about what does not cause them.

And given that you have not been EPL level manager nor player then you do not comment on any of the decisions, actions or reactions you see on the pitch :) ? Because all of that is your own (usually pretty aggrevated) opinion ?

Good.
Forum quality will undoubtedly improve from that!

You won't see me present those opinions as facts then get angry about how embarrassing or outgaregeous they are, no.

Not exactly sure what you mean concentrating 3 months ago on the EL. We only had two games left this Jan v farmers which we won. What more was there to concentrate on?
3 months ago was November. I'm talking about Galatasaray, Roma, and Rangers. We rotated in all 3 matches and walked away with 2/9 points.

It ended up not mattering greatly thanks to other results around us and the format, but it could have mattered a great deal. It shows that the competition at that time was foolishly not our primary concern.

It felt like that watching it on the box. Like when you get to the end of a movie and think "was that it?"

Got a long way to go to look like we're halfway capable of challenging for a top four slot.

It’s not going to happen overnight. Getting players back and scrapping out a win vs United are positive steps. But too many senior players are still lacking major confidence. Bergvall, Spence and Maddison were the only players trying to make things happen. Everyone else was far too passive. Playing scared.

No surprise our levels dropped after Maddison and Bergvall came off

We currently don’t have a player that can carry the entire team so it’s important to get multiple players back in good form.

We have now beaten Manchester United 4x in 18 months.

For context.
It previously took us 6 years to get 4 wins.
Prior to that it took us 15 years!!!! to get 4 wins.

Yeah you fucking know it.

LADS…….ITS UNITED!!!!!

I agree, the feeling after yesterday's result was mainly utter relief rather than joy. Apart from a couple of flashes of exciting front play, there wasn't much to get you out of your seat.
Atmosphere was as flat as a pancake (might have to do with the demos), apart from when Spence had the ball (and that was tempered when you realized that he was going to pass to Sonny).
The MOTD commentator referred to the game as the match of the underachievers - although annoying, he wasn't wrong.
Mrs Perryman where were you sitting?

I thought the atmosphere was awesome before in the C&H, in the stadium also in my block which was behind Spurs Tech Box - people in my block were actually singing except there was a couple that was rather old sitting in front of me who at one time we scored said 'Excuse me can you calm down! We want to enjoy the match' I told em to fukk off to the family stand then went to the seat on my right where we all went mad...Heard the south stand a lot & we all joined in :)

A much needed win. After a run of poor results the first win is always a scrappy affair but the important thing is the result. Hopefully confidence returning as are some players. Need to follow up with another win Saturday and see no reason why this will not happen. We are in better shape than when we last played them.

What have we seen from Scarlett, that tells us he is ready?

He has got his chances, both with us and others, but not taken them well uptil now. He made an impact goal at last occasion though, and it may be that he is still able to make the cut, but ridiculing Ange for not seeing his greatness - as five or six other managers haven't either, is just dumb..
Stop putting words in my mouth. Never did I say Scarlett was Great. What I did say is, " A fully fit Scarlett is better than a tired Son". Son isn't a No9 in the first place. Ange has tried that numerous times this season and failed. He's used Scarlett once and he scored. I get that some of you are Ange Fans. I get that some Love Soccer and no Jack about Football. The definition of insanity is trying to put Son as a Striker over and over again and expecting him to Score (Especially when tired). So stop jumping into conversations when 1) You haven't read the comments properly 2) You doing so out of False Loyalty 3) You make absolutely No sense.

If anything is Dumb. That is Dumb.

I sit in the East Stand, right at the front, where I'm surrounded by tourists, who only come alive when Sonny is on the ball.
I sing (quite loudly) when the sound projects out, but thought it was a bit quiet for large sections of the game. Therefore I joined in the sing-a-long with James Black in the Shelf Bar after the game. I can never understand people who tell others to be quiet, no matter how old they are.
A few of us meet up before the game at The Shelf Bar (opposite gate 122), feel free to come and say hi (that invitation is open to all, by the way).

Have you read your own post? Scarlett is "1000 times better" than current Son? But he is not great? Wow. good to know.

Should have stopped reading your post, when you started it with "From the little I have seen.."

The current Son is tired and overplayed. Or are you oblivious that. He has grossly underperformed for the past two months or more. I do believe Scarlett, as a No9, is 1000 time better than him.

Again, avoid selective reading. I believe most of us have seen very little of Scarlett, and that very little didn't make him out to be a really Crappy Player. But you Son, Kulusevski and Ange sympathisers seem to overlook the truth. All three mentioned currently, on form, don't deserve to be near the pitch.

I was on the West pretty much opposite to you with 1 was first row section 104 :)

I understand the international stuff so when it's a 'big game' I tend to go to the South Stand but I was just getting over an infection. but I tend to hug the international fans when we score & their faces are...

:avbnaa:

Oooh next time we both go I'll pop by - I went to C&H last time as the CFT peeps where there who I wanted to have a chingwag with. I think I will be going to the Citeh game if you are too lemme know!
