Sorry brother - have to disagree. I lived there for three years, and the scoff is amazing, as is the wine. And the Italians are mostly wonderful people. The blokes I knew saw the north-south Italo-British axis as a healthy counter-balance to the east-west Franco-Prussian hegemony in the EU. They were crushed every time we got closer to the French. And Brexit really, really hurt their feelings. I'm a fan of Italia.
But not tomorrow night.
