Don't bother listening to the whole "Spurs bottle job bullshit - we've had to face some fucking good teams this season in the Champions League where as the other English sides have had a free pass up to now.

Who's laughing at us? Liverpool? United? We'll see how good they are against a proper European side...Chelsea? They'll be out soon enough...

We've been brilliant in the Champions League up till now and it's painful to get knocked out at this stage because I believe we deserve to be quarter finalists over Liverpool and United. Ultimately, we've been done by the more experienced side which is a real shame because we took the game to Juventus in both legs.
 
Ref bottled it too. Several penalties completely ignored. Should have sent barzagli or pjanic off with second yellows. Gave way too much leniency to them and having 11 on the pitch the whole time messed us up.

Imho, I think we had the game and didn't put our foot on their throat. Poch didn't deal with their changes and when they took the lead we all knew they would see it out by hook and crook.

More experience gained. Now let's get top four and the FA cup and we go again next season

Great match. Gutted to see Spurs go out, but Allegri got it spot on with the formation change. Chiellini and Barzagli proper old school defenders.

Poch got out coached. Many people won’t want to hear it, but Allegri got it spot on in the second half.

We’ll learn from it, good experience for us.

A really tough game where Pochettino will have to mix the team up somewhat and have players ready off the bench.

If perspective is maintained then disappointment should dissipate quickly.

That Champions League quarter-final is going to bog full of real talent and Juvdntus have arguably the best defence of all of them, even if we penetrated them 3 times.
 
We achieved 1/8 final in ucl this season. It is an achievement from last year. Team gave us unbelievable memories against dortmund and madrid. Bournemouth on weekend. Move on.

I would have liked to have seen Moura on with 20 to go to get at those two centre halves with pace but Erik did well when he came on. Onwards and upwards.

We've had worse games. We've lost to worse teams.

It hurts because they were good for about 30 minutes over 2 games and knocked us out, but every season under Pochettino we learn. We go again.
