Even if our defensive line does a good job, the likes of Hazard will still get chances to get behind the line. And if our sweeper-keeper Lloris isn't there, well then I can only hope God has blessed Vorm today.
But ... on the positive hopes ... maybe Verts is captain, yet Lloris still plays.
And reason for that is because Poch wanted a more vocal leader to spread words easily throughout the pitch today.

I will say, what I have supported from the start. Vorm should play. I totally agree with this decision. I know its against the grain, but thats how I like it?

There's also the story of keepers dropped into finals at the last minute. Les Sealey being one. Ben Foster was hardly first choice when he saved 143 of our pens a few years back.
