our squad isn’t deep enough. Players get jaded. These type of games you need to be alert, quick to break them down.
Even Woolwich are playing a completely different team in the EL.
They have a fresh 11 for the PL
Lacazette, Ozil, Sanchez, Xhaxa, Ramsey, Koiscdlny, Mustafi, BellErin, Monreal, chech, that other lump didn’t play on Thursday.
Basically the team who played us last weekend, and Man City before haven’t played or travelled since.
The EL is probably helping them.
Whereas we have to play Kane, Eriksen, Alli and others in every game.
Woolwich may well have played with a completely different team on Thursday. But they got beaten. I’m sure we could’ve scraped together 11 squad players to get beaten by Dortmund.
Them playing their reserves in a dead rubber Europa League match and losing does not demonstrate a stronger or deeper squad.

The contrast with last year is startling. Home to West Brom 4-0 we blew them away. Today's comparison highlights our problems now. Such teams sat deep last year but we had pace in wide areas. We have either sold it to a rival or left it at home. In the middle, no one has the balls to try and go past any opposition - sideways after 4 touches. Not sure why we need TWO holding midfielders either.
