Unlikely against CL opposition, but I like your spirit. You just know that if Dele had gone to PSG he'd immediately have started playing like he did tonight.

Yeah, that wiped away all the games we had to watch with our eyes bleeding, and all of the recent defeats.I'm intentionally ignoring how limited the opposition was, it's just nice to see a win.
I notice the Jose out agenda mob are largely AWOL as well so bonus.
Do you think Vinny is a better striker than Harry Kane, based on what you have seen of them both. Not a sad day, a wonderful day.
I got to see a real attack, and hope the players who earned their stripes are rewarded.
I’m not surprised when we are better without Kane, you might be because you think he’s bigger than the club.
Says it all
Yes because playing Wolfsberger and playing Premier league teams are the same things.Bale, Dele and Vinny earning a start
Time to get tough. Kane, Son and Moura/Lamela/Bergwijn to sit on the bench for a bit.
This front three is fresh, playing well and deserve a chance.
No square pegs round holes just to squeeze Kane in.
That’s the front three for the next game or get fucked
Nuts, flanges, lubricants, erections etc etc.

Encouraging to see the 'B' team with a bit of application like they might actually want to step up.Yeah, that wiped away all the games we had to watch with our eyes bleeding, and all of the recent defeats.
Lets face it, he has told us his coaching is second to none.
He absolutely HAS to be judged by the same metrics as the other managers we've had, if the team isnt keeping us in the champions league then we find someone who can.
In the next round we are going to start hitting CL sides, so lets see if he can get us back on track, but realistically if the league form is as bleh as it has been then he doesnt deserve his salary
I refer my esteemed colleague to the John vs. Nutter-Tayler case mentioned earlier.

So when and where to the fringe players earn a start?Yes because playing Wolfsberger and playing Premier league teams are the same things.
Actually because the team we played beat Marine 5-0 we have to play that exact same starting lineup every week..
15 shots v Everton and West Ham

Yeah this win has convinced me to change my mindI'm intentionally ignoring how limited the opposition was, it's just nice to see a win.

Just maybe they’re not Jose people but Spurs people who don’t spend their days agonizing over whether the manager is sacked and are happy to see their team win a football match?I'm very happy with today's performance. But, for all the Jose people trying to take a victory lap here, do you think we would have lost that game or the tie with anyone in charge? Or even no one?
This is a nice night and I'm looking forward to more European football. But the real tests start again on Sunday.
LOL
He shouldn’t ever be in the middle third. Get him in the box and well away from midfield as he’s awful thereI thought Dele played well tonight.
I can still see why Jose gets irritated with him. I don’t think it’s losing the ball in the final third with an inventive flick, more losing the ball in the middle of the pitch and just flopping over.
I don’t think he lacks talent. Maybe his problem is he’s nothing *but* talent, and fails to do the basic stuff.
Still, great to see him playing with confidence again.
