Do we think this free-flowing footy is a product of Tim having more time with the team, and Pauli being back, or the fact that Stoke are giving us so much space?

The difference between this half and the game against the Baggies is quite apparent.

Edit: Thinking about it, it's probably just Pauli being back. :sherwoodlol:

Paulo has been a delight to watch.
You know why he's preforming this well, right?

Cause he read yesterday's papers of him being linked with Real Madrid...:baletroll:

10 attempts, only 2 on target. Spursy!

Jokes aside, THIS is the first time this season in any competition where we have consistently kept an opposition team under pressure, mostly in their third, for an entire half a game of football.

Mark Huges is a weak manager and this Stoke side are pretty light weight. But, we look pretty good - perhaps the best team performance this season so far. Second half still to see of course, but we have players getting in to space, one-two's between players, confidence and skill in midfield, passing it around well, lots of crosses to our strikers (how radical !), Fryers looks good today - I think it highlights that the system we are now playing takes some of the pressure of the defence whereas earlier this season every time we lost possesion we were in trouble defensively. Ade did well to get that penalty, good control and acrobatic shot to win it. They should have had a penalty from Dawson's terrible challenge....that is the only real blight on the game for us, and its nothing new from Dawson unfortunately.
