There is another way to look at it. The extra fixtures could impact with their PL performance and if the other 2 title contenders have Europe fixtures and Woolwich do not it gives them an advantage. Getting to the semi‘s and then going out is my ideal scenario.
I would have preferred Newcastle to still be in Europe and playing this week prior to our match.

I’m not buying it.

The Rapists are a confidence team. Get knocked out of the CL and their season will unravel. If they get through then that confidence will carry through to league matches.
