Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The fact that Caulker's deal still went through gives me hope this one isn't quite dead yet and that Becali is just posturing for a bit more cash.

Apparently Spurs didnt want to wait 1 more day for the transfer to finalize and Gigi went berserk, called the teams manager Mihai Stoica and told that he will never sell Chiriches to Spurs ever.

HE IS GIGI BECALI AND NOBODY MAKES HIM A SLAVE!!!
The guy is also very very handy

Dude was even a member of the European Parliament. A gnarly cunt we have here.

I'd still pay good money to see him and Levy in a bare knuckle contest!
Reckon Danny is dirty as fuck.... (and not in a good way!)

How's MK Dons going... Is Bale playing????

Tottenham are expected to land highly-rated Steaua Bucharest defender Vlad Chiriches - despite a strop from his club's president.

Spurs want £7million-rated Chiriches - a 23-year-old Romania international - to replace Steven Caulker, who has been sold to Cardiff.

Caulker, who was well thought of at the White Hart Lane club, signed a four-year deal with Malky Mackay's Premier League new boys as he faced being on the bench yet again in the new season.

Tottenham have moved quickly to agree a fee for Chiriches, who had been set to travel to London to complete the move.

But it is believed Steaua president Gigi Becali has become angry at the speed of the deal - and because Spurs were not prepared to wait until after the Romanians' Champions League third qualifying round tie against Dinamo Tbilisi (Steaua lead 2-0 after the first leg) is complete.

Chiriches' agent Ioan Becali, however, believes the switch should still go ahead.

He said: "It's at the 99% mark. It is made, it lacks only the signature of the boy, who will arrive soon.

"Steaua had offers of £6m and £6.5m, but did not accept and said they only want £6.9m. Now the offer is on the table."

if bale is definitely set to go, i wouldn't mind an offer of £100m, a player and varane, he looks pretty handy at the back and also young too
