Match West Ham versus Tottenham Hotspur Sunday 14:00

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

It's wrong, Declan Rice is a fine young player but rightly or wrongly players in that position don't go for as much as top attackers do. And it's not like he's a new Busquets or whatever, he's an able defensive midfielder. Those don't go for over 100 million, even if they're world class.

Kane is a proven top forward at every level and gets you 30-40 goals in all competitions. That's just worth more in the market. Unless he adds some new dimensions to his game then nobody is paying 100m+ for Declan Rice.

It’s a fair point. He’s an excellent player and five years younger
Basically, yes - to a degree. The age difference is huge. Rice is entering his prime and Kane is leaving it. But as Deuterz Deuterz said, attackers always go for far more than midfielders, especially prolific goal scorers.

Kane is worth more to Spurs than anyone else, but Rice is worth more to other clubs than he is to West Ham.

Fucking hell. West Ham. And I'm not confident.

What has happened to us?

If we win I will be pleased but won't be able to really feel it because we should be beating this lot handsomely and easily. It's West fucking Ham for fuck sake.

Our entire starting 11 have had a whole week off. Training together. Readying themselves and the tactics for this game alone. We should pump them. We must pump them. Hopefully this is the start of them fucking back off to relegation struggles.

0-4

Just one of a long list of players for which there's no point them moving there in the immediate term.....

Best off staying put and seeing where Moyes takes WH or moving a a team that's challenging now; not just being part of the drive to push them up the table.... He'll be able to command 2-300kpw wherever he next signs a deal so even the wages are not a thing......

United should be all over him to be honest. They are crying out for someone like him to anchor their midfield. Would not surprise me one bit to see him go there.

From United's perspective; absolutely.... Would have been better off with him than Sancho..... Even then they could still push for him this summer and the money needn't be an issue..... If I'm Rice though, I'd defo bide my time to see if the Chavs or City came calling though.

Him & Mount are besties so I could see the appeal for him there too.
