The ball wasn't under control if he's tripping over it tbh.Just shows that VAR isn’t reliable. It was a foul but I can just imagine the VAR officials looking at Tanguy stepping on the ball & saying nope

The crossbar challengeWhat do we do in training? This is dogshit.
It also doesn't help that our attackers don't move to put themselves in positions to get the ball. They are too stationary right now. It’s so tough to watch a MF that can’t progress the ball into the final 3rd, even if we are holding it around midfield for a couple minutes. Seems like long balls or counters are our only chance to get forward. West Ham just holds their line high and we are scared to anything but blast a long ball and hope to get lucky.
PEH is patheticAs much as I like each player individually, this Hojbjerg and Skip midfield pairing just can‘t create Any kind of a tempo going forward.
They don’t move because they know it’s not coming. It also doesn't help that our attackers don't move to put themselves in positions to get the ball. They are too stationary right now.
You could have Xavi and Iniesta in midfield and they would also have to pass sideways if the attackers just stood around waiting.
Lacked a shot from the right hand sideNo pen, when he took a chunk of his ankle? And got none of the ball?
You'd rewind it until you scored lolThat would have flown in the top corner on fifa
Agree...you see the likes of this West Ham team (begrudgingly), Brighton, Brentford and you see well coached sides with a clear sense of what they need to do.Another game of ours in which everyone collectively wonders what the fuck we're being coached to do in attack. What's our style, what's the plan Nuno? Whenever we score its a bit of individual quality. The whole team is so fucking passive it's a joke.
That’s our tactic at the minute, pinging long diagonal balls from the back….Diers long balls need to stop
