Imagine if Bale wasn’t injured most of the seasonJust a thought, maybe if we'd played Bale, Kane and Son most of the season and attacked we'd be quite a good team. Who'd have thought that?
Nope. Tanganga isn't the best going forward. I assume the idea was for us to push on down the sides given how narrow they were playing. If Tanganga wasn't injured that was a pretty wasted sub
Yes, all quite normal for us. And the obligatory biased co-commentator just to boil your piss furtherThey were shit decisions. Can't think of one that was a pen. But yes there was a another scandalous decision resulting in a goal against us today. The foul on Regie was a joke. Not given by the ref or var.
Not a single penalty given away today. We're moving in the right direction
To be followed by a relaxing of the rules next week in case they affect any other teamDon't get ahead of yourself. The VAR crew are probably just about to drag everyone back for one after finishing their review.
Yes, both must been tumbling over themselves to join. Get real, reset needed. No CL money, no stadium revenue (football and other). We should have a look at the Reading manager and see what players he can locate in the lower leaguesMake a statement sell lloris get donarumma whos contract ends soon. Get mourinho out and nagelsmann in
Good postSums it u
I think b) is a little harsh given she is the one holding the banjoIn isolation that wasn't too bad a performance, it just happened that a) our defence is now a clown car crashing into a flaming biffa bin and b) the forwards couldn't hit Karren Brady's arse with a banjo today.
This is key for me. We complain that Moura dribbles into traffic, but at least he brings it forward. When he gets there nobody has found any space and he has nowhere to go with it.The off-ball movement is atrocious
Why can I only agree with this once?On top of the coached and tactical failings, structurally, we set up the same every single game, 4231, we must be so easy to prepare for. Why not switch to a 433, maybe would help protect our defence and also help us in possession. Instead of having Ndombele do more water carrying maybe allow him to do what he does best, transition and play incisive vertical passes.
And then we have the selections. Moura as a fucking 10 ? That's at least as stupid, maybe more, than Poch using him up front in the double pivot. You do not want Moura in central congested areas, dropping deep and conducting forward play, it's inhibiting Kane's remit. And he's incapable of passing the ball. If he has to play, stick him wide and let him dribble (usually aimlessly) at them. It's all he's good for.
I do not rate Doherty, but playing a rookie CB at RB (the old lopsided fudge) instead is just so risk averse and meant we couldn't play down our right. Fair play, he corrected this at half time, and it improved our dynamics immediately, but he'd already pissed away 45 minutes.
Taking Lemala off and not Moura, despite the card, was just more Mourinho risk aversion - I called it as soon as Lamela got his card. Despite Moura getting the goal, I think Lamela was probably our most creative spark in the first half, the only one of our forwards who was putting his foot on the ball and looking to make something happen. Moura was just doing Moura stuff, bouncing around like a fucking peptic pin ball, fucking things away.
Bizarrely, we are probably an easier watch when we are losing, because at least then we are proactively trying to play some football, it's just all so fucking rudderless when we do. It's like "oh shit what do we do, we haven't planned for this".
The off-ball movement is atrocious. Our forwards are a bunch of bumbling nitwits at the best of times, but this is exacerbated by the tepid, incoherent chaos that goes on behind them - damningly, the same can be said of the defence - ahead of them. Which says it all.
Reading manager?? Ah stop. Why not warnock who just comfortably beat reading away?Yes, both must been tumbling over themselves to join. Get real, reset needed. No CL money, no stadium revenue (football and other). We should have a look at the Reading manager and see what players he can locate in the lower leagues
More realistic than paying Allegri 20M! We are about 400M down and counting due to Covid and paying off the Chelsea c next weekReading manager?? Ah stop. Why not warnock who just comfortably beat reading away?
How many players in lower league can play prem level????? If it was that easy theyd all be playing prem
Sorry but no. He has insane talent but zero application. Those round the corner flicks when we are chasing the game? He wants to be legend by right, not by hard work.Short spells coming off the bench is no good for any player.Lets get behind Dele.
Lets be honest here , without kane and son we may have been down with burnley and brighton maybe god forbid have been in a relegation scrap, mourhinio has lost the plot time for him to go.'Bang Average' West Ham now in 4th place with 13 wins.
Last 10 games, W7 D2 L1. I think you mean bang in form, while we're clearly not and we still had the better of the match.
They also have no European football and have played less games. Carry on.
