Spurs fans have to play some of the highest ticket prices in the world to watch home games. Furthermore, merchandise and other associated costs are expensive too.
Many at Spurs are treating the fans with utter contempt. 3 sprang to my mind.
1. JOE LEWIS
Joe Lewis is one of the richest individuals in the world. Yet, in terms of money spent by Spurs as a proportion of revenue brought in (mostly from fans), we rank very low down compared to other PL teams:
2. HARRY KANE
This summer, the media focused on how is behaviour was a spat with Levy. Maybe so; but more importantly it was despicable behaviour towards the FANS.
They're the ones, many of whom are working class and poor, who spend their income on tickets and TV subscriptions so that Kane can earn £200K a week. He took that money and flew to Disneyland Florida when he was meant to be in training.
He has come back looking quite lethargic, and doesn't appear to be giving 100%. As our star player, this will also have a knock on impact on other players.
3. NDOMBELE
He didn't just cost the club £50M transfer fee, but is going to pocket around £60M in terms of wages during his whole contract.
Alasdair Gold reliably reported that Ndombele wanted to leave this summer because he thinks Spurs are below his level. Consecutive managers have not been happy with his attitude, and there have been matches where he can't be asked to press. If we hadn't bought Ndombele, our alternative would have been Bruno, who works his socks off for Man U.
Maybe Ndombele needs to realise that one of the reasons Spurs are no longer 'at his level' is because we can't control the midfield, a problem he's being paid handsomely to fix.

Report: New figures show how Levy runs tight ship in terms of player wages and staff costs - Spurs Web - Tottenham Hotspur Football News
Tottenham chairman, Daniel Levy, is known for his financial prudence, not just in the transfer market but also in the way he runs the day-to-day operations at Spurs. The Lilywhites have one of the lowest net spends in comparison to the teams they are competing with at the top end of the Premier...
