Fucking hell, I thought these were football men, in touch with the culture of the fans. Maybe I was wrong.....

He's also throwing his daughters into the line of fire to get dogs abuse from morons on Twitter. What a twat.

See, originally when Poch came out with those comments about us the other day, I got sucked in by it and thought it would be really harsh to boo him.

Now I just feel like he was playing us all like a two Bob fiddle to protect himself from any anger.

That IS what he is doing.

He fucking loved this rivalry when he was our manager.....

Do not let him take the hate out of this game. Boo the fuck out of him and who he represents now, he would expect nothing less from us when he was our manager.

I'm guessing those are his two daughters. Bit weird to start getting personal and dragging the kids into this.

I certainly won't boo him. We sacked him and he has bills to pay like everyone else. I'm not bothered about what he said at his first interview. He's being paid millions, of course he's going to talk Chelsea up. It's part of the job. You wouldn't have expected him to minimise our club and talk up Southampton when he joined us from them?

I won't cheer him but will give him a polite, respectful applause at the end if comes over at the end. I'm sure Ange won't mind .I'm not sure about singing "he's magic", that might be a bit much.

I'm not gonna boo him specifically, I'm going to boo Chelsea as a whole, as usual because they're an absolutely repellent football club. Sadly that now includes Poch but that is what it is.

Reading this has put it into perspective a bit.

Highlights:

Best manager in 2 decades for us.
He sulked his way to the sack. (this was on a 'similar article link') due to broken promises, I guess.
He only ever said Goons were off the table. ( Some things are unspoken mate.)
He'll respect our decision to boo or not, but it won't change how he feels. Good.
He doesn't mention feeling shame or guilt, doesn't mention racism or their greatness being funded by murdering oligarchs and doesn't mention their moral and financial corruption.

To be honest, it's hard to feel any real animosity, so I'm digging deep. I'll be dishing out rotten eggs near the south stand from 6pm. 3 for a tenner.

And didn’t he claim that they were the ‘greatest’ side in England over the last 10-15 years?

There's more chance of seeing a half-and-half Israel-Palestine scarf tonight....

...no, that's right, of COURSE there wouldn't... 'cos THAT would be ridiculous!!

Joking aside (not that I was joking about the Gaza conflict) but even the notion of a half-and-half scarf is abhorrent...

However, I CAN see (just about) the market for it for certain situations, like one-off tourist fans who want to mark the occasion...

MY problem is that CERTAIN games should be half-&-half scarf free zones, and AS such, ANY fan attending (both lifelong fan AND Day tripper) should acknowledge the intensity of CERTAIN fixtures, and realise there probably WON'T be a friendly, half-and-half atmosphere for this one?

I went to the Vienna derby in 2017... (Blatant "I've been abroad" post) but went because I was well aware there would be quite a feisty atmosphere...

...So I CHOSE a side beforehand, bought a ticket for the Rapid end (they were the home team that day) I wore green and stood in with the Rapid fans.. . and I can assure you, had I been wearing a half and half scarf, I'm sure I would've been escorted off the premises! !

As it was, I had a much better time in the stand, than the dross served up on the pitch!

but my point is: by all means GO to games, enjoy them, but PARTICIPATE in them, join IN... don't stand passively silent, in your half and half, taking selfies!!!!

*Ahem, to my hypocritical shame, I did try to take some footage of the Rapid end during that game, but was IMMEDIATELY told to put my phone away! Point taken.

THAT WAS ME TOLD!

Honestly I think it's actually quite amusing. Even as someone who was butt hurt by Poch going to Chelski, Perez is obviously being tongue in cheek here and showing a sense of humour. Unless the girls were hardcore footie fans then it's understandable why they'd do this.
