Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Assuming our team talks from the documentary weren't simply acting, I can only see three ways a performance like today happens (including a possible combination thereof)

1. The players aren't listening
2. The actual coaching/training is utter shit
3. Our players, especially in the middle of the park, really aren't as good as people think

Those pre-match & HT talks are a picture postcard and reveal little beyond "look passion".... Especially on a coaching/tactical level.

You think Mourinho 'failed' at Utd?
Okay, Mourinho is supposed to be 'one of the best in the world', right? As in on par with the likes of Klopp and Guardiola?

Mourinho arrived at United exact same time as Pep Guardiola arrived at City. They received roughly the same amount of backing/money. (One could even argue Mourinho received greater backing.)

Guardiola made City the best team in the league and won numerous trophies, Mourinho fluked his way to a Europa League, produced absolutely woeful football week in week out, alienated a number of Uniteds most talented players, spent his final months whinging and moaning blaming everyone but himself and was duly booted out of the club.

Mourinho 1000% FAILED at United and anyone who says otherwise is a head burying in sand merchant.

Europa league win and 2nd in the league is United's best season since Fergie left them and they are no better now than when Jose left.

They finished 2nd in the league without once looking like causing City any problems that season.

And I would argue they are a much more dangerous team today than they ever looked under Mourinho, and that's with a glorified PE teacher still managing them.

Finished 2nd on 81 points 19 points behind City.
Finished 3rd last year on 66 points 33 points behind the champions don't talk shit

Who gives a flying fuck what he did at Man Utd? He had millions to spend there and won't get that here so it's pointless to compare the 2 clubs, they are entirely different in scope.

At every club he's been successful at he's always had the 1st or 2nd best squad in the league. He doesn't have anywhere near that now and the alarm bells are fucking ringing so loudly you would have to be deaf not to hear them.

Jose Mourinho is a fraud. The worst manager Tottenham could ever have. Sack the bastard now before he does even more damage. Hojbjerg is our answer? Are you joking? How many defensive midfielders who can’t pass do we need? Surely we‘re overstocked in that department: Sissoko , Dier etc.
This was the most abject performance I’ve ever seen, since the last abject performance by Mourinho’s side. Jose is the problem. Sack the problem.

The big problem now is if we are nowhere near being a team that can win a trophy or two then what is the point of having Jose as manager. Fans just cannot stand watching this type of football if there is no prospect of success at the end of it.

4 disagrees now on this post and not one of the clowns who gave them have offered up any semblance of a retort. It’s just facts, deal with it. I honestly cannot understand the lengths some of our fans will go to to defend Mourinho just because he’s our manager. I would bet good money all 4 who disagreed with this post were pissing their pants laughing at Mourinho when he was at United, and rightly so.
