And void of any ideas. Wijnaldum and Henderson in a sort of midfield two just didn't work. Alexander-Arnold went off injured and they could really do without him getting hurt for a substantial period of time, he's one of their most creative players.
Salah doesn't seem to do much now besides be there to convert the penalties they get. Firmino has scored about 2 goals in his last 23 league games....
However, they are STILL getting results.

I didn't watch that closely, but didn't they play 4 up front with 2 behind?
Jota was a bit more central and of course Firmino does his dropping deep.
He's not wrong but he's only whining now when his incredible run of injury luck runs out so it just sounds like sour grapes.
It's a fair point he made about teams playing in Europe not having to play the early game on Saturday/Sunday (as we did today).

It changed throughout the match. It did start as a real 4-2-4 but then shifted to a bit of a 4-2-2-2 and then the second half was mostly a 4-4-2.
It's about commercial/consumerism. Early Saturday/Sunday would be placed nicely for broadcasting in almost every Asia and America timezone. You want nice TV money payoff, you have to do the chore.
Other managers discuss about it too, but they don't selectively and conveniently whine after a poor result like Klopp. When Mourinho talk about schedule pre match, the media would stick the knife in. This German bum like manager has a habit of whining about some ridiculous things after a poor result, and media just let him off easily.
