Manager Ryan Mason

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I mean I’m sure he’s getting paid handsomely for it but to put him in charge of 20 plus , professional footballers , some genuine friends at a stage in the season when the team is falling apart , one of the biggest names in management has just left . It was hardly going to be all sunshine & rainbows , was it.

Baldy knew this was going to happen & his plan , get an unqualified , unexpected ex player in. The tit

Disagree.
He has a free shot at showing how good he is.
I think he has picked correct starting XIs so far.
Some players have let themselves and him down.

4 attacking players away from home against the most energetic team in the league was the correct line up?
All of the front 4 will only run when they have the ball going forward they will not put a shift in defensively and that has been the case for the last 2 years at least.

All about the onions, innit?
If Harry's legal goal stood we would be having a different discussion.

Ryan Mason is Spurs through-and-through. He's a rookie manager like Arteta and will make mistakes.

He was robbed by VAR today V Leeds even though Spurs should have played better. But this is what you get when you sack an experienced world-class manager 1 week before a cup final because you did not want him to win a trophy and then cost extra to be sacked.

Sack Levy if you want to get Tottenham to improve as he and ENIC are holding Spurs back.

He lacks experience, it raises an eyebrow if a division 2 team take on ex player with no experience. We’re in the Premier League & a few seasons ago the champion league final

It’s been toxic here for a while. Didn’t matter which manager, what results, it’s just perpetually negative stuff. I have found that this place actually makes my experience of being a Spurs supporter more exhausting. It’s like it’s in our DNA as Spurs supporters that we like the torture and we even go looking for more here.
it has been refreshing to be on TEI discord. Opinions, but no name calling or toxic masculinity

Because after the way that he has been treated by 2 managers!
So you would be very happy to be left out after playing all season , not even as sub ?
You would think, Fuck You Mason !
Dunno - if I get left out by Poch, then Jose, and then even someone in their first match doesn’t play me, I might think it’s on me? Not a great place to be, admittedly, but I’d maybe make the effort to at least look like I was trying. Winks, for all his inadequacies, and Dier, and Davies, and Reggie, and GLC, and Lucas, and even Dele in the last two games, run around and break a sweat (Bale and Kane are the only players with ‘money in the bank’ so can legitimately be awful and get the odd free pass).

On the other hand, maybe he’s injured.

Or maybe he just can’t be arsed. I don’t know. He certainly blows hot and cold.

Levy’s planned for a ‘free shot’ for Mason - if it doesn’t work out, there’s enough money to buy us back into Europe (almost certainly Europa) next season. The squad is decent enough to do better than it has all season, clearly.

There is something wrong with you I swear. I was overjoyed Jose got sacked. Doesn't mean I have to be happy with Mason and how he approached things in the final.
I mean he's a caretaker ..what were you expecting FFS? It's so not even worth mentioning as you know he will be gone and he's trying his best. At least I've enjoyed a couple of games since the toxic one left but moaning about mason? Go back to aftv you gooner wannabe

I genuinely feel for the guy he clearly is either playing his mates and hoping for the best , Not actually picking the team , Or genuinely has no clue what to do for the best .
Poor guy has been thrown off a cliff by the hierarchy above though so I don't necessarily blame him .
I think we have far more serious problems than Mase .

He hasn’t even met the small expectations I had for him.

He tried to beat Leeds at their own game today. We played an extremely attacking lineup against the one team in the whole league you probably want to be conservative against.

Well don't be so sanctimonious and moan about shite.
Whatever man. It's a forum and people have different views and are free to moan about what they like. I just never feel the need to resort to name calling and silly Woolwich jibes whenever I see things differently from a poster.

Personally, I think Mason could've done a lot better despite his inexperience.
