He’s not turned into dross overnight. His defending has been like this all season, it was like that on his debut against Chelsea in the Carabao cup. Cost us a goal because he got too excited but also went down the other end and delivered the cross that took it to penalties.
Its just the way he plays, always on edge, always trying to run, always trying to hurry. He plays like a bee is chasing him. He never looks composed when he’s defending.
