Having so many DMs inc Dele, then you have winks that can't do much apart from keep the ball as you say is exactly the problem. That's no good for us.
Maybe can be used in Europe but if he's worth any significant amount of money 20-30m then should sell him.
Bergwyn was injured but i don't understand why Ndombele did not come on. Would love to have a different choice off the bench but we don't have much so i'd have put him on. Gil is another that could have played.
The funny thing is that I wouldn’t be totally sure that levy wouldn’t ask 40M for this clogger.

Obviously Skipp being much younger and less experienced means he rightly gets more leeway than Winks who has been shit for 3 years.
I think Skipp's physicality and defensive awareness will put him ahead of the Winks/Mason/Carroll types because he can become a proper DM specialist.
But there's also every chance his technical limitations get more exposed as he starts to play a bigger role in the team.
I think Skipp will be alright for us. I'm not having a go at him. But he is limited, and I remember Winks at the start of his Spurs career was getting the same praise as Skipp does. And when Winks did have a poor game, people preferred to concentrate on others in the side.
There's no getting away from the fact that WInks is average, as are a bunch of other players in our squad. But the abuse and criticism he gets here at times over others is ridiculous.
With Poch yes, we just let the squad decline but afterwards it goes way beyond the squad, even a top draw one wouldn’t solve all our problems.
firstly what the fuck are we? We bought in players likes Ndombele and Lo Celso who are ball players and then bring in managers like Jose and Nuno that hate the ball making them totally pointless signings (irrespective of Ndombele crap attitude).
We don’t then back Nuno with the players he wants like Traore who is a press resistant dribbler to make his system work. We have some very good players in my view but the squad doesn’t look like it suits any managers philosophy, it’s a pick and mix and one that doesn’t even have a cover striker.
We should have got Potter and just accepted over the next 1-2 season we where going to buy lots of kids and build a project around progressive attacking football. I like Nuno as a person but I just feel this is a temporary appointment till next season. We are not heading in any direction, we are just floating around.
