Another class game from him. Hurry up and get the contract signed. His age is a total non-factor, Conte worked with Buffon and will see Hugo in the same way. Just get the deal done.

We have so many other positions to worry about, just give Hugo the deal he is after and wrap it up. Worst ways is, we overpay him for a year or two and he slips down to number 2 keeper on a high wage - we have had far bigger fuckups as a club when it comes to overpays.

nice is a good move for him can see why he wants it, hometown club plays a good few yrs there and retire besides he has been here 10 yrs at the end of summer next year, he will get a testimonial and im hoping at least 1 trophy this season for him

If we’ve offered him our best deal and he prefers to go back to Nice and enjoy his last years, there’s nothing we can do. I’d just hate to see him go because we didn’t make a good enough offer.
