Spurs u18's play Chelsea away on Tuesday - I'm guessing that Jordan Hackett, Alfie Dorrington and Jaden Williams didn't play today as they were being saved to be fresh for the Chelsea match ?

Been wondering, Nile John, is he wing back physiology? Can’t recall his game in terms of graft and dribbling/running endurance.

Hope we are intensely scouring England for 16-19 wing backs (or as said, like a Leeds Rose, winger who is clearly talented but not quite enough to be saying “no I’m a forward” when Paratici calls his agent to say Conte likes you).

Good to know we are planning a succession of strikers, in age order - Etete and Parrott, Scarlett, Donley and Williams followed now by Irow !

That game against Mexico was the first time I've seen Irow play. England played a 4-3-3 and he was on the left of the front three. He looks much more like a nine than a winger though in terms of his build and style, didn't seem to be able to beat players with speed/dribbling to the same extent that Ameyaw could.

Do you know which of Hackett or Meghoma is more highly rated at the club? I've been impressed by both and would be disappointed if neither made the grade.

Did you watch MK last night. Troy scored a really good goal . Went down the left and flicked it in with his right. Generally looked decent . Cannot see MK getting up in the play offs, the front 3 are all 20-22 and at times were bullied by Wednesday defenders.

Thanks for those comments. Irow is a good prospect and at aged 16 has time on his side to develop both build and style. Agree he looks more like a striker than a winger.

Hackett is aged 18 and will be playing with Spurs u23's next season whilst Meghoma is aged 16 and will be playing in Spurs u18's next season, so Spurs could easily bring through both - its not one or the other.

We've actually got quite a few good prospects coming through in various positions - our problem is going to be developing them in that aged 19 - 21 age range where loans are probably the only way to give them experience after playing for a year or so in u23 football, but we haven't done that well for a few years now. Although Parrott and Etete this season seem to be the exceptions.

Video of goal in Parrott's thread.

MK Dons is an option for Parrott if they get into Championship, but if they stay in league 1 they'd be a good place to loan another Spurs youngster, and I think other Championship clubs would be interested in Parrott and Etete for loans

The stream I was watching showed Mick Harford (Luton Assistant Mgr) keeping an eye on things. If Luton don't get promotion - unlikely, they've probably got the weakest squad of those clubs - wondering whether Troy P would be a fit for them.

Great spot!
I watched Luton v Forest the other day and neither of those sides should get EPL next season.
But Parrott could be a good addition to Luton's squad.

Ideal, closer than MK…

No idea why we don’t have relationship, CCV went well for them/him/us, set up Celtic loan.

The Swedish league has just started, so Alfie Whiteman has made 3 starts for Degefors this month, unfortunately 3 losses (3-1, 2-1 and 2-0) .

I've found a Dgefors fans forum who aren't happy about most of the players .... but no comment on Whiteman as yet !
