So, anyone care to rundown just exactly what happened at Fulham? Just how much would you say is down to Jol?

I haven't really been paying much attention to them.

In my opinion he overachieved for a little while, I had his card marked as soon as he joined. Ironically, once they were a bit more settled and had a couple of decent players, they began to under perform.

I don't know about jol really. Dutch Mark Hughes.

Jol was never one for good pacey wing play and for sum reason always liked playing a CM on one flank leaving the team unbalanced but then instead of just going 451/4231/433 he'd stick to a 442 type system with shite width and little pace on the flanks almost suicide in the EPL

he never seemed to develop much tactically over the years and even watching Fulham it was the same type shit

still love the bloke mind you......

I've... seen things you people wouldn't believe... [laughs] Steve Sidwell scoring a blooter. I watched Scott Parker turn in circles in the penalty box. All those... moments... will be lost in time, like [coughs] bubbles... at... Upton Park. Time... to leave... ©

:roflmao:

So Fulham really did bring in Meulensteen just to sit in the wings until they shafted Jol? Pricks. BMJ might have been doing a terrible job there, but a) he deserved better than to have his successor openly paraded in front of him for a few weeks before he got the can, and b) what exactly did the Fulham owners think that strategy was going to achieve in terms of morale and results anyway?!

Not really seeing it as any worse than getting sacked at half time via text message. :levylol:

Could have done with him at least staying on until after Wednesday. I don't want Spurs to be the cause of two lost jobs but I also don't want us to play a team with a new manager.
