I definitely wouldn't have the Newcastle or Woolwich defeats on Ange. Bad timing playing Woolwich as Solanke was only back from injury and Brennan was totally out of form. We dominated the game but players lacked quality in final third and then we concede from a set piece because Romero switched off. Newcastle game, we battered them and was very unlucky. We missed chances and gave up two soft goals (romero at fault again). Can't blame them 2 games on Ange!Does Anges style not cause the defeat to Woolwich, newcastle and Brighton as well?. Brighton defeat more on the players I felt and would we have been 2-0 up playing conservatively comes into it. I feel Ange could play a 5-3-2, 3-5-2 a bit more playing against the top 8 and then playing against a press like Palace. I dont hold much hope, he says hes not for changing. I fear the worst.
Brighton, I'd only blame Ange for not reacting to them making half time subs until it was already 3-2. The introduction of Estupion changed the game and they were going with width, and lots of crosses. Sarr shuld have been brought on once it wen't 2-1. I think Ange learned from this as we saw him make that change earlier in West Ham game where he recognised we needed legs to handle their transitions.
Crystal Palace was all on Ange. Wrong team, wrong approach and wrong subs.
