We probably need to take into account that this wasn’t Bodo at full strength, and they were away at one of the best stadiums in Europe against an incredibly wealthy team and the intimidation that may bring and that - despite that - we somehow let a goal in and had two key players (Solanke, Madders) come away with injuries.Funny isn't it. There's a few different types of fans on here:
- Fans that want us to lose because they hate Ange
- Fans that want us to win, but when we do they make excuses for it (opposition were weak, had injuries etc.) Because they hate Ange
- Fans that want us to win, but when we do make statements about it 'being in spite of Ange', 'the players won that, not Ange' - Because they hate Ange
- Then there's the fans that analyse the performance and acknowledge that Ange may have got that one right. Even in the horror season we've had, and even if they dislike him, he may deserve credit for getting that one right at least.
(These people are labelled rats for taking a analytical view instead of an over-emotional, spiteful one)
I am Ange out btw, but I hope we win the EL, and if we do because of his tactical decisions then I'll certainly give him the acknowledgement he would deserve.
I really hope we win the whole lot - and comfortably - and I don’t really care who the coach is, I just want to feel like we might do okay in most games and not concede a boatload of goals at any given time.
TLDR - Cool - we won- Bodo had half a team and were away - still scored - Bodo reserves aren’t all that.
