The game is on BT...

What difference does it make? Blame BT then.
Sky & BT can change fixtures from a Saturday to a Sunday. That's the point. Why not just make one of the Poo Woolwich games the BT saturday game then?
How does it work. Sky get first pick which ones they want for Sunday and BT pick which Saturday one they want?
They provide the dough so dictate the fixtures.

When the fixture list was announced they knew we were playing in a tournament. They knew Poo and Woolwich would be playing last games on Sunday.
So, they kept us on Saturday gave the game to BT and brought forward the time to 12.45, then moved Poo and Woolwich to Sunday to televise on SKY.

The PL. SKY and BT are the ones that should manage things differently.
Edit: what do you think?
Do you think they could have moved our game to a Sunday or was it that imperative BT got it?
Do you think that they could also not televise CL games on an Tues and Wed nights now that BT has got the sole rights to both Europa and Cl on TV? Surely now the EL can be moved to Wednesday & CL to Tuesday?

Europa league will not have it's ties over two days. They will play on Thursday the fucking lot of them and play their leagues games on Sunday as early as possible.
The Cl teams will invariably have 3 days r& r between the ties and PL fixtures.

But it's us who should manage things differently?

Either way surely the board/management knew date of the start of the season?

I missed the game.
I know we lost, but is it worth a watch?

Plus, anyone care to sum it up?

Thanks!

Na bit of a slow preseason game really, they parked the bus for most of it surprisingly given their talents, we controlled the midfield for much of it.

We did most of the passing but our Movement particularly the attacking 3 was predictable although RM were very solid.

First goal was a mix up and second was a poor pass from Bentaleb followed by a typical Bale run and 25 yarder. Overall deserved a draw but you don't get to be Real Madrid without being ruthless.

Alli was the best player on the pitch by a distance (even nutmegged Modric) and Wimmer was good in the first half. Game did highlight the need for explosive players like Berahino and Werner going forward.

This is our best 11 imo for manure away.

-------------Kane-----------------
Chadli ----Eriksen---Lamela
----------Ali----Dembele---------
Rose-Vert- Alder----Trippier
-------------lloris--------------------
The back 5, Eriksen and Kane are the only ones worthy of starting, As for the rest (apart from Alli) are absolute donkeys of the highest order.

Yes, but not the fixture. If we would have had Norwich at home I don't suppose we would have been trying to.
When they saw they fixture list they could have made an effort to televise it on a Sunday though. That's probably why we asked.
Really it should be even more so easier to change to Sunday.
But we shouldn't have taken the tournament. We don't need the money these things make or US and Asian tours generate.
We should fuck them all off.

What is good to see is that our signings, Wimmer and Alli looked great. Trippier in the MLS game also looked good.

What is very concerning is that our attacking 4 seems to offer no movement and we don't have many options there.
