The only place Traore should have in our team is playing as a wingback.
Where he has never played …

Why do people think Traore has a better final ball than Emerson? His assist numbers are shocking. Why does anyone think he could handle the defensive duties? He has never done that. He is explosive but could he do 70 minutes (let alone 90) as a Conte wingback? With his build he would be done by half time

We certainly don't want him as a forward.

He can't even stay in the first 11 at WOLVES.

actually he has played in that position.

He played well this season when he thought he might get a transfer, didn't get a transfer and fell out of their starting XI. Do we really want another mentally weak player?

I really hope we stay well clear. He's just another Sissoko for me, athlete and not a footballer.

Wolves tried him there in pre-season as far as I can see. A short experiment then he went back to being a winger.

Nuno defo experimented with him there during his last season too.... During the time he was in and out of the team.

He's a monster on his day. But sadly his day is about 3 times a season. For the rest he's about as much use as a chocolate teapot when it comes to that final bit. He's not much of an upgrade on Bergwijn or Moura, if it at all with the latter. There's far better ways to spend whatever money we have unless we get him for a really good price.

raaaaacissssssst

Traore doesn't have one goal or one assist in 19 appearances this season. He'll slot in perfectly at Spurs.
Correct.

Though he is a master of take ons.

Players with the same amount of take-ons are separated by minutes played. Stats correct as of 11:00, 06/12/21.

...but how many of those take-ons has he converted into pre-assists, or pre-pre-assists, or ...oh forget it?

We've a squad full of players who take people on and end up losing the ball, one more won't make much difference.

I think there is a stat somewhere, that he is the No. 1 in take ons in Europe’s top 5 leagues.

But there is no end product, if there was he would not be a sub at Wolves and they would not let him go.

If he could be coached to improve on this, Wolves would do it, Pep would have him at City. He knows him from Barca.

Traore came through Barcelona‘s youth set-up but made just four senior appearances.

On his day he can be a nightmare to play against.
