Rumours we are interested in tel. Links to moore from other clubs. Says it all really. Buy mediocre young foreign players for inflated prices, stunt dev of our own young talent and don’t go for real proven quality like mbeuno or eze.

It depends on what you're basing your opinion on doesn't it.

Relationships with the fans probably the worst.

League results, definitely the worst.

Overall season achievements.....are we saying that (if we win) a EL trophy, CL qualification and 17th in the league is worse than finishing 15th and bombing out of cup comps early?

The only reason I bought up Ardiles and Gross was to try and highlight that we've had seasons that have been less profitable.

Ange needs to go, I fully agree. However the over-emotional rants of 'We're fucking 17th, he's the worst we've EVER had'.....well in terms of an overall single season performance we have done worse.

As an overall package though, Relationships with fans + results + the general lack of enthusiasm from fans for the club, it's probably the darkest times we've had.

The most disappointing thing for me, as I've posted about a few times, is the division of the fanbase. I've never seen same team fans hating on each other like this before.

Well it depends if we have mounted a serious title challenge then that is like going for a cup and losing in the final.

Agreed! Didn’t Ange make out the Jonny big bollocks for getting 5th last season himself. 8 to 5th he never fails to tell anyone. With no cups or Europe he was bragging about it. Forget g that when cunte left we were 3/4 I think. It was only the mess of stellini and mason that dumped us to 8th. So his basically improved us 3 places over those two. Now it’s getting to EL final that’s his big achievement whilst 17th. Don’t hear him bigging up 17th from 5th.

Also finishing 5th when a competent manager gets you 4th is hardly something to crow about. Finishing 5th and then dropping 12 places to 17th the following season is not an endorsement of a good manager. Out previous coaches who did get 4th had prime Harry Kane, Hugo Lloris and Son. Quite different to having a broken Richarlison, a keeper who cannot defend set pieces and an ageing Son.

We were doing OK up until game week 13. We were 4 points off 2nd and well in the race to finish top 4. The simple fact is, injuries to Vicario, VDV, Romero and Udogie derailed us.

We tried to salvage the league by taking some risks with returning players, and that didn't pay off. That's on Ange - but what was the alternative? To continue to play to inexperienced Gray and Dragusin in defence?

Don’t know how long you’ve been a spurs fan but we were a complete mess before he arrived. Players like Walker and rose were looked at as massive liabilities, dembele didn’t have a proper role in the squad, Kane was just coming through. Using us coming 3rd in pochettinos second season as a stick to beat him with is insane for any genuine spurs fan.

I will thank ange for Frankfurt away but other than that winning this europa league would of been a piece of piss and something most spurs manages in the past decade could of achieved given the competition standard since the rule changes.

Calling ange a “winner” is hilarious too given the standard of leagues he’s coached in. He wouldn’t of got close to anything Poch did had he managed us during that period.
