lol told you he wasn't getting the sack. Every week people are like, that's it he's gone.
no chance, this is Levy's and Munns guy! They're gonna give him every possible opportunity to turn it around

Honestly, if he isn’t sacked today then I'm done with this season. Just shows we aren’t being run as a serious football club.

This totally ridiculous narrative about how players retuning from injury will somehow show us to be a top team shouldn’t be indulged.

Does anyone think we aren’t going to get more injuries this season even if a few players get fit again? Example- Richarlison comes back only for Solanke to get injured. Then Richarlison gets injured again and so on.

As far as I can see, Ange seems to be pinning his hopes on an out of sorts Romero and injury prone VDV to somehow turn things around.

So if reports are to be believed, we're doubling down on a manager, playing a system which isn't working (and hasn't done for quite some time). We're not going to give him the resources he wants to make that system work, and just roll the dice and see what happens?

I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
face saving game. wrong choice from day dot (in my opinion) but an executive recommended him? and he don't care because he is being paid money he could have only dreamed of. some salesman ! I wonder how many of the Ange the Musical fans (besides the Australians) have ever watched the A-league ( that's australian football's main league). It's not really European league standard as some have guessed. Probably League 2? standard? Look at the players in and around the Australian national team and where they play. Hearts have tried a few. Two have remained with them.. one left start of the current season to go back to australia, another Garang Kuol was loaned to Hearts and is back at Newcastle. Harry Souttar (Scottish born) at Sheffield United etc. Probably some more in scotland.

Just look at the more successful teams in the league. None of them play anything similar to Angeball.

Considering our squad, Ange is by far the worst manager in the league. Only Ten Haag was comparable but he's gone now. He did win a cup last season, so even if Ange won something, he still isn't the man to take us forward.

Cool. Thanks for that.

We deserve to go down. And the fans that have backed either or both of the ownership or AngeLOSS deserve all the misery and all the flack.

If you're still defending either/both of them for this then you're not fit to be a football fan and you need your fucking head checked.
It is absolutely as insane to be behind either of them as it is to be a flattard.

They are waiting for us to bomb out of the cups now before sacking him. Bosnich just said the same as last week and you’d think he’d have the inside track knowing Ange. He’s safe until after that fa cup game.

Madness.

Newcastle had to contend with masses of injuries last year and Europe. They weren’t this bad.

It’s all excuses.

Well, they had to contend with it and even decided to give youngsters chance. So Miley surfaced and was trusted to be EPL player at 17.

But fuck that, we still decide that Dorrington and Lankshear can bug off. Not good enough. Without ever given chance.

Building future my ass...

To be honest we probably need to start bombing out of the cups. Our squad isn’t build for 4 competitions and certainly not playing high intensity and with an injury crisis. One game a week would be a massive help at this stage.

Yeah I've been the one the point that out numerous times.

But defending as a team was, is and will continue to be a bigger problem.
It isn't about getting the two CBs back either. This is a total lack of practice in training. We look in immediate threat every single time we lose possession, no matter where on the pitch that happens.
Doing anything as a team would be a good start.

Ange's tactics does the opposite of what every other professional Manager does and that is to try and create overloads. The only part of the pitch he tries to overload is the midfield which is already the busiest part of the pitch. The fact is he quite often puts our players in positions where the opposition out number our players. Then the fact that we have zero touchline wingers.

Nothing Ange does makes sense and the basics of his tactics are a bastardised version of Bielsa's press with none of his complexity or his attention to detail.

Yeah, Newcastle had one bad spell of 7 or 8 games when they lost most but otherwise they were ok. They finished 7th with 60 pts. We'll be lucky to get 40. Its another bullshit narrative to cover for managerial incompetence. Still, at least its moved on from..'but Arteta' now.

They're coached.
This guy is nothing but a philosophy. He doesn't train players to play the way he thinks we should play.
We look shockingly un-coached. I've never seen a team look so disorganised without the ball.
We some how manage to get outnumbered at both ends of the pitch. We take too long to work the ball in to the final 3rd, and push every player into the oppo half in the process. And then we lose the ball and have 3 Vs 2 counters. Constantly.
It's fucking pathetic football. It's not entertaining. It's not "attacking" It's just naive and can only end badly.

I honestly am not sure it matters with this idiot in charge. The tactics are so bad and so easy to play against that every manager can see through them. The only way we fix this season now at all is to sack him asap but it looks like they won’t. Levy is the king of bad footballing decisions, this could be his worst yet.

I still think the best summing up of it all is that yesterday, Ruud Van Nistelrooy, a man who, let’s face it, is very much still an amateur manager gaining experience in that side of the game, actually told an interviewer BEFORE the game exactly what his tactics are.

He told Ange before players were on the pitch how he was going to beat him. I bet he couldn’t believe his luck when they got their goals in the first ten mins of the second half, he’d thought he’d have to wait till 70-80mins.

This follows, was it Declan Rice who in a post match interview said they weren’t bothered as they knew exactly how we were going to play, how to beat us and that if things didn’t go our way we wouldn’t stop doing the same things.

Other teams are literally telling our manager how they are going to beat him, and he doesn’t have anything about him to know how to stop it.

What on earth are we doing here.

What's 'cool' about it? It's factual. He won something in Brisbane (huzzah) and in Japan (huzzah).. and Celtic like every manager there in the last decade or more has.. excepting Gerrard for one season at Rangers.
Winning stuff in those leagues is no more impressive than league 2.
Fact.

Fans would have been frothing at the fucking mouth if we hired Dave, who has spent 28 fucking years muddling around league 2, the conference and won a few paint trophies.
But they seemed enamored with Ange from Celtic. Cetlic. A club in one of the worst leagues in the world of football. Celtic. A team who completely and utterly own that league.
And fans thought this would work.

If he was 40 and had worked his way from Aus to Japan to Scotland, there might have been hope. But the fact he'd been around for fucking DECADES and nobody took a chance until Celtic should have told you everything you needed to know.

He's had every possible opportunity to turn it around and he's proved he is fucking useless. The only thing he excels at is trying to front out fans.

If they honestly thought he was their guy they'd have backed him more in the summer and this window.

he's being backed about as well as any Tottenham manager. In fact in the height of the Ange out and Ange In War. The outers would often point to Ange having a huge pound spend compared to Conte, Nuno, and Jose
