This season has been such an unequivocal shitshow on every single front I can quite honestly say I'm jaded past the point of caring anymore. I don't get pissed off when I check the scores after work and see we've lost, it's just an abject "yeah, expected that" and on with my week. The only thing that pisses me off about that is even if we do win our first trophy for 17 years, it will be tinged with the uncertainty surrounding our immediate future and worry that we will continue giving a man so clearly out of his depth a seemingly infinite amount of rope to hang himself with. Winning Europa will be cathartic for fans who can then stick it back in our rivals' faces (because that's what this is all about really, we're collectively so fucking done with hearing "Spurs never win anything" we're quite content to burn the club to the ground just to stop it), but it's really putting a plaster over a gaping, festering wound.

I have to hand it to Ange honestly, I never thought after all these years waiting for a trophy we might have a manager so catastrophically bad I almost fear winning it more than losing it because of the implication of what another 2-4 months of Angeball could do to us. We could be so far gone by the time he gets sacked we genuinely are under threat of relegation next season. Sorry, but it's not conjecture and sensationalism anymore when you're on track to finish 17th and lost 20 games with 2 left to play.

Can you name the starting 11 that drew with Leicester, lost to Palace away, lost to Ipswich at home, got walked over by Arse and Newcastle....and so on and so forth.

Oh and BTW.....fuck off.

How about Ossie? 93/94 we finished 15th and were knocked out of both cups in the early rounds. That season was over by January.

Christian Gross 97/98 finished 14th and again season was over by February after going out of both cups early to Barnsley and Derby.

I get your hatred for the man, but to say he's the worst manager in footballing terms is a bit of a stretch. League results have been shocking, and it will be our lowest ever PL finish, but the cup runs spare him that accolade surely.

Amazing watching people who told us this was the Messiah have to go back to Gross and Ardiles to make a case for him now two coaches who lasted one season. This is our worst coach full stop. For the time and resources given him it's the most catastrophic under performance ever. Far worse than Ardiles or Gross. I tell you all what's stark and please the genuine people who think a Europa win would mitigate any of this( not Harry7 trolls, or the Australian simps) look at his backroom the man's out of his depth he believed Wells, Jedinak, Raimondo, Burch was an elite set up. There's National league sides with more experience back rooms and I'm serious look at these people's CV's He's a massive fraud and the words out.

Youre right we do have a bunch of losers in this fanbase. The ones who think winning a cup where we faced 1 good team the whole tournament whilst being down in 17th is some
Amazing achievement, those are the ones with a loser mentality.

Some of us want more from our side than 17th in the league and a cup run, some of us think we could of been in this exact position in europa whilst still being in around the top 6 in the league with a competent manager. Those making excuses for this season are the ones with a clear agenda of not wanting to admit they were wrong. We were favourites for this competition at the start of the season, most people on here thought we had a good chance of winning it before the season started (due to the rule change) and not a single person thought that would come at the cost of finishing 1 place above relegation.

Every spurs fan will celebrate and have a memorable night should we win, but it doesn’t paper over ange being well out of his depth for this role. Same way our last cup winning manager (who had to beat Woolwich in the semis and Chelsea in the final) is still looked at as being a massive failure at spurs, despite winning more than someone like Poch or Redknapp.
