Then it's fair to assume that our current situation is affecting the pool of managers available to us and it's also fair to assume that any manager willing to come in under these conditions won't be any better than Ange and may even make the situation worse.Exactly mate.
I’m not here to throw shade at Frank. He’s obviously an outstanding coach. But he situation isn’t good for him to come in right now. And tbh it’s not good for any of our reasonable targets imo.
It's already clear that a new manager will have an uphill battle to gain the support of the players. If Ange tries and fails next season, there will be a lot more support for a new manager which will make the job more appealing because the new manager won't have half the club thinking "What if we'd been true believers?". It's a lot better for a new manager if those people are thinking "We believed and it didn't happen. Time for something new."
