I just want top 4 wrapped up before we play the gooners. Then beat them at home to wind them up even more so they are at boiling point. 😊
No I want it all to hang on that game. They take an early one nil lead. They play keep ball for the rest of the game. They have 80% possession we have zero shots on target.
95th minute - Doherty scores with a clear handball that Var misses. 1-1. (Xakha gets red card for dissent)
98 th minute - Emerson receives the ball in the box. At least two yards offside. Mis times his shot which dribbles over the line as Ramsdale scrambles like a schoolboy caught looking at porn on his phone.
VAR after looking at it for 6 minutes declares it a goal. (Played onside by ESR’s nose.)

Final whistle.

We serve Lasagne as the post match meal.

I want those fuckers to feel pain.

The second half against Newcastle and the second half against a villa have been unreal.

But the first halves have been very concerning. If villa could finish and it wasn’t for Hugo , they should have gone in 4-1

Missed this game because I was getting married yesterday, but what a fantastic wedding gift Spurs have given me. A 4 goal win and an Woolwich loss on the same day, absolutely magic. I knew they'd do it for me :contefists:

I think we also played into Villa's hands by trying to play it out from the back at every opportunity. This gave them a chance to pressure us, which was their game plan.
2nd half we came out and the instructions were clear. Don't play it short, lump it up as they wont be expecting it. Within a few minutes we carved them open and scored from a Lloris punt up field.

Yes playing out from the back is ok when you have the players who can do that

We dont apart from Romero

Been said many times I'm sure but that ref was incredibly weak and let them get away with a lot of shit, 1 booking for them is fucking embarrassing.

Still the sign of good team is ime who constantly gets kicked and are able to roll their sleeves up and get on with it...not sure the other team from South London would do that..
Well that other club from South London probably paid-off the incredibly weak ref, it´s not like it would be their first time! They tend to do shit like that when they are not good enough themselfs, cheat!

If they had scored we would have reacted. Was calling that when watching the first half... Cursing them for waiting until they score to start playing our game.

We were never losing that match.

But as the old saying goes - if my grandmother had wheels she would have been a bike!

Can anyone explain how Sky reported an xG for us of 1.0?

Very easily .. we created almost no chances that usually get put away. xG is based entirely on probability statistics, so how often someone usually scores when placed in that situation. The only high xG chance we generated will have been Son being through on goal, and even then players being through is statistically less of a chance than people assume.

The fact we went waaaaay over what was expected is a testament to how brilliant Son/Kulu were at finishing.
