Does anyone know if clubs have life insurance for players?

Surely they do? Considering players are financial assets.

I imagine that they would have some sort of coverage, seeing as todays players are probably the fittest they've ever been and constantly monitored health wise.

Wasn't there the rumour than Real Madrid had insured Ronaldo's legs for £100 million Euros back when he first signed for them?
