"City and Pep accept Arteta's wish to leave but are unimpressed with the way Woolwich have gone about their business"

Woolwich are a fucking mess.

Panic buy or what.

No one else in the frame that they could get in quick.

Bloody hell what a gamble. No experience whatsoever in managing (not taken a single game). Let alone a track record in root and branch reform of a dysfunctional "team" which is on relegation form - 10 pts from 10 games. They've misses out on Mourinho, Poch, Ancelotti, Uncle Tom Cobley. Muppets.

Always works out well when you appoint an ex player, especially so when they have managed no one anywhere ever before. Shearer, prime example - absolute Legend.

good luck to Arse Anal - hope they finish 8th forever.

I did hear they were going to appoint a proven ex premier league player, but assumed it would be Neil Shipperley. I guess even that “wanker” did not fancy it up the Arse Anal.

Took them 3 fucking weeks to hire an assistant who they targeted last go around. How is that possible? Did they not have contingency plans in place?

But I'm sure he's who they wanted all along! Not Poch or Allegri or Rodgers or Ancelotti or two or three other names that have been bandied about.

Long may their incompetence continue.

It is utterly shambolic, he was an average player, now expected to overhaul a horrendous squad of losers with only experience setting up training sessions for Winners under the watchful eye of Pep.Has disaster written all over it, Arteta won't be there this time next year that is for sure
