What's the global viewing figures for Serie A?

Is £25m a year so far out of whack in that context? What would you say is a fair market sponsorship deal for a Champions League club with the backing to achieve the lofty ambitions of the owners? More than Everton, West Ham and Wolves, right? Less than regular CL clubs like yourself and your London counterparts, right?
Serie A is now the 2nd most popular League in the world.

YES!!!

Your argument is still the same - You say that the inflated valuation is because your owners are PIF (ergo lots of money, state-owned therefore are "ambitious"). This isn't market value, market value is what other Clubs get based off their brand size (history, fanbase footprint, past success, consistent presence in the top flight, regularly competing in Europe and for trophies etc...).

Because your owners have a bottomless pit of money ("ambitious") doesn't set "market value". If this were the case then Newcastle Utd would have sponsors queuing up to sponsor the Club that aren't part of the PIF. You haven't.

Pope out for 5 months

They wouldn't be getting such a big shirt sponsorship on the basis of one CL qualification..... 12 months prior they were a fucking repeat relegation bothers

How much do Forest, Villa or Leeds get (also historically big names)? That's roughly the benchmark for that kind of team.

Re: loan fees specifically I don't think that's true..... And it still doesn't account for the scammy-ness behind the Nevez purchase to start with.... Why on earth would any club in that position loan out their new super-duper 60m star midfielder that is better than 99% of the players in that league??? ...Unless it's part of an FFP scam?

Re; Fair market value; lets say in simple terms the depreciation on a 60m player over a 4 year contract is 15m per season..... You can bet your ass NC won't pay that much for a loan fee if they get him.
I think part of it could be companies getting in their early thinking that Newcastle will be the next City , would make sense for Nike to gamble on a long 5 year deal now hoping it pays off.

Importantly; for "companies"; see NCs owners........ No-one else be queuing up to front-load their future sponsorship potential.

Pope out for 5 months. He has been a wall for them this season.

Dubravka or Karius his replacement. Might see them slow for a while

This is their team of players out for Sunday:

Pope
Manquillo - Botman - Burn - Targett
Willock - Tonali - Longstaff
Murphy - Wilson - Barnes
We have a great opportunity on Sunday

If the sponsorship deals are at 'market level' why do they always seem to be from related parties?...
Saudia, Noon and Sela are related.

sportsbet.io, Fenwick, Castore (soon to be replaced by Adidas), Carling, Monster, Straightline, Fenwick, inPost, Fun88, eToro, Tomket Tires, Pulman VW are not.

Pope missing for 5 months is a blow, but to be honest Dubravka is fine as a deputy and it's not like we face a lot of shots. Biggest miss will be Pope's ability to sweep up outside the box. Although even saying that he's not being doing that half as much this season, so maybe it won't be as big a problem.

Gordon missing would be a much bigger problem. He's been vital to how we've been playing and we have no replacements that are fit. We're literally down to the bare bones of an already small squad. We're naming kids on the bench with two keepers, Dummett and Ritchie.

Amazingly Adidas a year before they did a deal with Newcastle they became Saudi Arabia's Kit Manufacturer.
