It's nicknamed 'the Theatre of Dreams' but as Gary Neville has repeatedly pointed out over the last couple of weeks, the cold reality is that Old Trafford is anything but.
There is a ton more stuff that gets called out, Jorno's hate the wifi and can't do their jobs. The catering is woeful, some have been shut down by health and safety grounds.
And weirdly every single party trying to buy them says they will redevelop it. It’s almost like they haven’t a clue the pitch is owned by someone else and the fact the site is hard to develop. A lot of bullshitters or people looking to make a quick buck I suspect. The last planning consent has expired, that took 18 months to come to pass, build costs have gone up massively and there’s a lot of local opposition to development. Whoever buys them won’t be building a new stadium for years, if at all.

I’ve always been amazed by the draft picking system, and tried to imagine how it would ever work in Europe. Imagine Norwich having first dibs on the best young players and getting to select the Tom Brady of “soccer”….

Wouldn't surprise me.
I am concerned that the increased number of American owners will lead to them having a majority of clubs in the division and then they force through changes to the TV deal. We know the liverpool, man u and Woolwich owners favour a deal where they take their games in house as they make more money from it that way. It will cause a huge disparity in the league and make it even worse between the haves and the have nots with us sitting somewhere in-between. It would be disastrous for the league.
Am I the only person that thinks that Government should have treated Chelsea like any other frozen asset.
Agree with all that; but the other clubs should have flexed their muscles much more regarding NU-Castle in the first place. They had more power than anyone else. Bit late acting all pissy about it now.
