I know this puts me in the minority, but I don't really get why there has to be such a debate about who is better out of Messi and Ronaldo. I find ranking players and stuff like the Ballon d'Or to be the side of football that bores me to death.
I am a big Maradona fan but the argument against this is Messi has in the past dragged the team into finals only to be let down by Higuaín when it matters. If he scored those goals Messi can be consisidered GOAT but as he shanked them he cant - that logic doesn't wash with me.
Its impossible to compare across generations (other than for fun down the pub) due to the changes in the game, the difference in physicality means its pretty much a different game.
That was Pezzella that made a shit attempt at slowing down Jesus, not Lo Celso. Silva (I think) played the ball up to Jesus way over Lol Celso's head, he wasn't involved in that play.

That ball was over his head so fast I don't know if he could have caught him if he gave it everything he had. I wouldn't assign any blame to him for that goal.
Just finished watching the Brazil/Argentina game. High on energy, low on quality. Don't really understand why Acuna gets picked ahead of LoCelso who offers more football in a team lacking football in midfield. Martinez? Foyth at RB ? pfft...And Brazil were pretty insipid too.
