Change up the full backs for footballers and everything will improve - other tweaks possible eg Wharton, Palmer etc as well as tactical but those two are football stranglers

I know most of the attention has been on midfielder, but replacing the wing backs would make all the difference to this side. Having Shaw back will be huge, should it happen, and on the other side we should be going with Trent against sides that we should be beating and we have 70% of the ball against. Walker has been absolutely terrible despite his assist in the group stages whenever he's got past the halfway line and should only be played in certain games, or as part of a back three. Trippier had a poor season for Newcastle by his previous standards in his best position, so what on earth has he been doing playing left-back every game?
It's just so frustrating because the players were available to Gareth to do well while also looking good in this tournament but his selections have made a mockery of that.
