Maybe against Hungary, but not with just 3000 kids inside Molineux tomorrow.

I made no reference to Hungary....

Past games in alt. stadiums have proved more atmospheric than 99% of (non-tournament) England fixtures at Wembley.

EDIT: Just remembered this game is 'behind closed doors'.....

Of course it'll be quiet..... Nothing to do with location though.

If we struggle in this one it'll be a real worry. Italy didn't qualify for the WC & are in a period of transition. Obviously we need to win (no wins in 3 for the nations league, friendly tournie or not, would be awful WC prep) but christ England fans need to be given reason for optimism.

And I don't mean mostly sat back and 5 minutes here or there where the players wake up. Across a 90 we need to see a team which are genuine WC contenders.

Not really to worried about the result.... Just wanna see a convincing performance which (apart from battering farmers) we haven't seen since the Euros.

Result in less important but the team needs confidence. Not getting a single win out of all 3 games wouldn't be ideal in that regard.

But agree that performance is paramount.

Yet another England game. I’ll end up watching it but these matches seem so unnecessary.

Hopefully Kane won’t be involved. If he plays, it is his 60th game of the season after only a few weeks rest since the euros. It’s just asking for trouble keeping on playing him.

So, in its wisdom, UEFA is allowing 3,000 children under the age of 14 into Molineux tonight. As the kick-off is at 7.45pm they won't be home until midnight. Let's hope they do their homework this morning, because the little sods angels will be in bed all day tomorrow.

What kind of stupid scheduling is that for a game attended by little kids?

Also; why only 3k kids when Hungary had circa 30k in their gaff last week?

5pm kick off would be much more appropriate

England ban is for crowd control issues for the Euros.

Hungary game was for racism Uefa/Fifa don't give a shit about racism!!

Will Stade de France get penalised after admitting their cock up for CL final?

They’ve even had problems with rugby games there so I hope they do!

France should be thrown out of all sport for a century of proudly collaborating with any vile regime that they feel helps them to hold power on the continent.

Mason Mount AGAIN!

How poor does he have to be to actually not start games?

Glad to see Tomori given a chance though, and will be interesting to see how Abraham does. He has massive potential.

Maguire last chance

Unless Mount can find some Chelsea form there's not a lot of creativeness in that midfield three of him, Ward-Prowse and Rice. All seems very workmanlike. Would liked to have seen Bellingham starting.

Disagree. If getting a draw tonight shakes the players’ belief then they are nowhere near where they need to be to win a tournament.

Rotate your team and see some inexperienced players come in. That’s going to give you more useful information at this stage.

Edit: Tomori, James, Abraham and JWP good choices to play. Well done. Also good to give Mount another chance as he’s been poor for England. Goal is to make right selection decisions in 6 months.

Boiling my piss #687652:

Whenever the suggestion of more attacking intent / better coached attack is suggested, the suggestion is immediately re-framed to falsely reflect that the demand is to "go gung-ho".

As well as his defiant squad of white-knights; Gary himself has done this twice this week.

Fuck off!
