weve lost more games in the last 2 seasons than any club in top 5 leagues ive just seen! fucking disgraceful! what a rotten culture we have. someone needs to sort it ASAP, get rid of 10 of the bad personalities and replace with men that want to win.
But we've lost them in the right way

We might not have many actual victories but we have tons of moral wins

We do things the right way 😊😊😊😊😊😊

That is absolutely staggering.

If that was the situation at any other Big 6 club, or ANY club with comparible resources the hounding in the media would be utterly relentless and the ownership would have been either driven out or desperately scrambling for an exit strategy.

Whereas our fanbase meekly bends over and accepts it while crying about some make believe conspiracy that the media and that the Prem has it in for us..

Such a strange, strange fanbase.

The fanbase has accepted through conditioning failure as accepted culture.

Knowing our luck we'd get bought by a consortium led by Dan Levy.

I'm starting to feel like Levy might to some extent have been the one that was shielding the club from the stupidity of ENIC.

He was probably the reason we were top 4 / top 6 rather than fighting regularly for the title, but if you consider the situation we are in at the moment was never even close to happening during his tenure you have to wonder whether he might have actually been the best bit of ENIC.

I don't think we'd have waited so long to sack Frank if Levy was in charge still, I'm not sure Lange would still be in post if Levy was there.

Honestly his management wasn't designed for winning but it was in a completely different stratosphere to the management at the moment.

Yeah it is possible to be fair

He likely would have acted on Frank earlier, but at the same time the state we were in from the start of the season was always really bad.

Levy being reactionary isn't sustainable and while I blame Vinai and Lange (who Levy hired) for accelerating this, it is 100% caused by the shit processes, people and systems Levy put in place over the last 6+ years.

He did keep Ange on last season when he should have seen the warnings at the end of 23/24
He's as culpable for this mess as anyone.

If that was the case, would we have finished 17th last season when he was still here?

As others have said, I think him getting us top 4 in his first season is fucking incredible given what he was working with. He's a top manager but seemed to me like Levy was never ever gonna give him what he wanted or needed to succeed.

I don't think that's the issue.

The issue is he did what people wanted - brought in a guy to take full control of transfers (Paratici) and spent a ton of money on Serie A players - Romero, Kulusevski, Bentancur, plus Royale, Gil, and Sarr.
On top of that, we still had over £100m of Ndombele and Lo Celso stinking out the place.

You can't have near/over £300m worth of players, plus contracts, and expect to magically find people to buy them and/or add another £200m on top.

We don't have the owners for that. Levy didn't have the personal funds for that. I don't know what people are expecting? Spend money better? We used to, until people said "back the manager" and "hire a DOF and back them"

Levy and ENIC were joined at the hip and oversaw failure at numerous clubs before the ultimate calamity set to befall us .
They might have had an acrimonious divorce but they brought the kids up as a unit . Now the kids are a basket case is on all of them , none of them escape the blame .

Never known a club to sack a manager a week before a cup final. That was all on bonuses and mourinho had a bit of clout if he won the final. Then they sacked redknapp as didnt like fact he was leaning towards England job. So replaced him with AVB.

Time to replace Jose was months earlier if they wanted to save the league place, to sack him prior to a cup final was so odd. The Redknapp sacking proper angered me, that was such a fun period under Harry.

After Levy was ousted he did say that the club would be worse off now he was gone. Look at the state we are in. Just saying.

Agree completely with both of the above ; but maybe , just maybe Levy was the least insane lunatic on the committee of raving lunatics running the asylum .

But then again ; what do any of us actually know how our Club is being “ run “ .
