Ex-Spurs Player Eric Dier

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Marking his man in the middle, Porro and Sanchez playing traffic cones, their movement was so limited.
Dier has to leave the man he's marking, run across the penalty area and try to block a shot from a player in space because of the antics of the previous two defenders.

But it's all Dier's fault.

Not all but partially

Sanchez primarily
Then Forster

And I don’t like Dier’s hair style

No contract !!

So very sick of this donkey.

Biggest pretender I’ve ever seen.

Sick of him roaming around the field and pointing around.

Yelling at refs.

Giving interviews to the press.

Comes off as some kind of leader but is anything but.

Hope those new contract rumors are done and dusted.

yea hes a big time bluffer. screams a bit to fool the fools. blokes a fucking coward, we got a few of them in the squad. 2 played today which is why we cant even beat bottom of the league. last thing you want in your team when youre playing players fighting for survival is cowards! mind you, you dont want cowards around full stop.

He was one of the players at fault for the goal. He did his usual act of standing back with his arms behind his back and the ball was booted through his legs into the net.

He wasn’t to blame on an individual level for the goal(for once), but he was part of the problem. And he’s going to continue to be part of the problem because for some reason the absolute weapons running the club seem hell bent on giving him a new deal.
If you have a team that doesn't get the job done against the opponents where three points should be a lock, that inexplicably disappears for large parts of the game, and has spilled coffee on the resume of some good managers that reflects on the team leadership. Again and again we hear that Dier is a team leader. How much worse would Spurs be without him? I'd be more than willing to find out.

He's good at talking though...that's why he does the press crap. Probably one of the main reasons he's still at the club. It certainly isn't because of ability.

And he's in the England squad? I genuinely wouldn't want him in the Republic of Ireland squad and that's saying something.

He's smart, he plays a role of "leader" and "mature role model" to new players like Porro coming into the club. He takes "responsibility" for poor performances, he "leads" the back line, all in lieu of actually fucking tackling someone.

He knows he's a fraud and this is how he earns the trust of managers who lack the ability to see past the bluster.

Would have heled us if he kept his gob shut and stopped missing free headers and giving the opposition the red carpet treatment in our box.

the name is a fucking dead giveaway, you wouldnt leave your kids with a bloke called pedo! yet we have a bloke called dier starting week in week out at the heart of defence!

Why did he ignore Walnutt and run back to the goal line for the 2nd Soton goal? It was terrible defending.
you know what. watching it back i dont even think the oaf realises that hes responsible for walcott, i dont think he is even aware of him even though its clearly his man when the balls getting crossed in. hes just fixated on getting onto the line because guess what? its the coward option, he can just run to the line and if the ball hits him hes a hero, he doesnt have to do much and it makes it look like hes doing something. this is how his brain works. its all about masking how shit he actually is.

We are trying to get this guy to sign an extension.

Let that sink in.

This is what Levy is content with.

Mediocrity and conversational Portuguese.

He was Dembele and Wanyama's backup, he was Toby/Jan's backup, he was even Walker/Trippier's backup.

We bought him from Sporting for 5m. He's a Janssen, a Nkoudu, a fucking Wimmer, he should have gone the same way as his peers. Rotting in some second/third tier league hoping to snatch a conference league spot.
