This is going to be an interesting game. France want to suck in teams and counter, Austria press like Bilesa’s Chile. So if France can play through the press it could be ideal, but if they can’t then Austria could rattle them.

I just did. You're done. Like others have said, you're having a mare and deciding to deflect and now completely deny the initial point.

I'm bored and everyone else is likely bored of reading it. You're wrong and refusing to admit that and I'm not going to smash my head against a brick wall trying to get you to say otherwise.

“Others” is Shadydan Shadydan who is the dumbest guy on the forum.

The handball rule in question has this exact wording:

It is an offence if a player scores in the opponents’ goal immediately after the ball has touched their hand/arm, even if accidental

You have issues if you think “their” in that sentence can refer to a different player than the player scoring, let alone “any teammate”

And the official rule body has explained exactly the same in the posted rule clarification.

How funny, I just looked up the 2020/2021-handball rule - the year before the 2021-correction, and it has the following wording:

after the ball has touched their or their team-mate’s hand/arm, even if accidental…

I will accept your apologies.

Erm, no it fucking doesn't.

The rules make very clear that a) Intent does not matter in attacking handballs and b) if you score immediately after a handball whilst making silhouette bigger, the goal can be disallowed for handball. What, do you think if you accidentally slapped your hand in to the ball for an assist they wouldn't be able to disallow it?

Again, I'll feel like a broken record here but the FIFA qualified official who knows the rules very well explained this pretty eloquently straight after the goal was disallowed. I imagine she knows the rules a little bit better than you do.
She's quite hot too

I'm not going to continue to explain to you that a native English speaker would never say "a player" if referring only to the player who handballed, they would say "the player" because "a player" is deliberately vague.

The wording of the rule is clear and you absolutely can't handball as part of the build up to the goal if it is beneficial, deliberate or not. Enjoy the rest of your tournament.
